Bay Online Media (BOM) is a registered business in the state of Washington (license below) founded by Craig Hordlow (Red Bricks Media Co-Founder) in 2016.
BOM provides hosting for ASIC & GPU mining machines, as well as development services for blockchain apps and trading bots.
Craig also works as a cryptocurrency mining consultant, building and managing custom mining data centers for clients.
Prior to Bay Online Media, Craig was co-founder of Community Musician (1998-2008), a music classifieds network that received its very first investment dollars and emotional enabling from Craig Newmark of Craigslist, and most notably co-founder of Red Bricks Media (RBM), a marketing agency that began in his San Francisco living room in 2004 and grew to 75 employees in three offices (San Francisco, New York, and Hong Kong) and was #354 on the inc. 500 in 2009 with over $8M in annual revenue. Craig has been a speaker at the major marketing conferences, and has taught SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, and Analytics courses for six years at AcademyX in San Francisco.
After selling his equity in 2013, Craig became an active investor in San Diego biotech Immunicom, where he worked closely with the founder developing immunotherapies for tumor-based cancers. Having studied molecular biology and worked as a lab researcher in college, Craig began developing therapies for canine diseases as a hobby. He currently helps CEO Amir Jaffe with the company’s marketing programs.
Craig began brainstorming ideas for his next startup in 2014. By 2017, Craig had two dozen startup ideas, the very best of which became what is today Bay Online Media (BOM). BOM currently has two main focus areas: (1) providing colocation services to cryptocurrency miners, and (2) developing blockchain apps for novel solutions. BOM has two very exciting platforms in stealth mode that will be launched by June, 2018.
